Opened in summer 2025 in Tel Aviv, Formshop is positioned between the elegant calm of Neve Tzedek and the creative energy of Florentin, adjacent to Park HaMesila, a linear park transformed from an old railway line. This unique location mirrors our spirit: a meeting point where heritage embraces innovation and reinvention.
Founded by industrial designer Dean As, Formshop was born from a lifelong passion for design and automotive culture. With a background at the prestigious Alfred Dunhill and training at Richemont Group’s Creative Academy in Milan, Dean envisioned Formshop as more than a store — a curated experience and cultural pit stop for design lovers and tastemakers seeking the essential parts for great living.
Visually and conceptually, the store draws inspiration from racing workshops. The humble garage tool cart, a symbol of precision, care, and creative readiness serves as our graphic anchor and metaphor. It’s a nod to a world where tools are beautiful, and process is part of the product.
We source with purpose, seeking work that is clear in design, meticulous in execution, and able to hold its relevance for years. In parallel, our studio will develop limited runs that reflect the same uncompromising standards.
Our selection spans furniture, lighting, tabletop, lifestyle accessories, and collectible design pieces, objects that transform a room not through exscess, but through character, intelligence, and craft. Each piece is chosen for its ability to spark a conversation, enhance daily rituals, and embody the thoughtful luxury that defines Formshop.
