The Single Drawer Chair is a unique wooden chair with one arm, containing a single drawer. A minimalist and refined piece of carpentry with a conceptual approach that is functional as well as being a conversation piece.

The Single Drawer Chair series is part of an ongoing personal exploration by designer Roee Ben Yehuda, of the interplay between storage spaces and human emotions‭. ‬Embedded within the chair’s familiar structure are drawers‭, ‬not just for storage but as portals to the subconscious‭. ‬In this context‭, ‬the chair transcends‭ ‬its traditional function‭, ‬becoming a kind of machine for self-reflection‭. ‬The chair transforms the act of sitting into a journey of self-discovery‭, ‬offering a platform for introspection into the sitter’s hidden dilemmas‭.‬
